Where exactly in canada are you planning to settle? Whether it is in winnipeg, manitoba, alberta, ontario, etc,, just state the city and province.

Thanks a lot for your help and sorry to bother you again! I still cannot ink my in-laws and my mom's application. I used different combinations, including application number and UCI. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Try not filling in all the optional fields.

If that doesn't work if you have GCMS notes enter exactly as shown in the notes.

If a visa office has requested additional documentation from you, is that meant to appear in MyCIC under the documents section?

And if they had communicated to you via email for something specific, e.g. re-med, does that appear in the Messages section?

It will I believe starting from when youve linked your file. I had a Request for documents and it didnt update that culd be because request was sent prior to MyCIC being available.

Yes.

Anything prior won't show up in messages.

OMG, I was finally able to link the application......13 tries later (yes, 2.5 days later......with 2 days being blocked due to trying 5 times).
The thing that confuses me, is there are 3 people on the paper application (that we put on the document) but I input 2 and it was linked. :-\

Does anyone know if you can link an application that has already been processed (i.e. PR card has been received)? I'd like to see the information in the file rather than waiting for GCMS notes.

On my 4th try so far....

I had written to the gov numerous times about putting the PR info into the same system for TRV (which is myCIC)...at least it looks like they listened!!

It won't tell you much.

It will say application closed, eligibility passed, medical passed, interview blank if you didn't have one, doc request blank, background check complete, final decision approved.

That's it.

If you want a detailed look at your completed app order the notes.

Now I'm confused lol.

So PA is a national of country A. Has a passport issued by country B.

How is that possible? Dual citizenship?

we were in the same boat....in my husband's passport, it states that the issuing authority is UAE (which is the Syrian embassy in the UAE) but the passport is obviously issued by Syria....suspect this may be screwing up our attempts to link as well...

I dont hear nothing about mexico office since may 4, so, I want gsm notes.
or link my application? I dont know what to do. dont laugh at me, the waiting going me a liitle crazy

We ended up linking it just by inputting the city and country of birth, not the passport info. Anyway I remember that while filling out the form for the application on the computer, it didn't allow us to put an issuing country different to the country of nationality, that's why we had to put issued in country B (nationality country) even though it was issued in country A.

Why not link the app and then order the notes?
