Hi, just wondering if someone can help me out with this.... so i am sponsoring my costa rican wife via the Guatemala VO, and for those that have experiene with the Guatemala visa office, how long did it take for you to get your AOR letter or e-mail from them? for me, in early feb, I logged on to e-cas and it said that guatemala has received my wife's pr app date saying Jan 24 and it still says that.... I am just a little worried that my wife has not received any letters or e-mails from them and I want to know if this is normal? when can I expect them to send this information to her? should I be worried? what should I do if she never receives anything?!!! thanks!

Gary

Hi!

I am not aware of the timeline for that office but the timeline that immigration canada sets for the offices is 90 days. So in other words within 90 of them receiving your application your wife should receive her AOR. Also keep in mind that some offices seem to not always send them out.

Best of luck to you and your wife with your process!

thanks for that info lonelywife, anyone else want to comment please!

Hello gary,

I am not aware of Guatemala office but i know for sure that some VO do not send AOR they only update it on E-CAS. I have found a link for Guatemala thread, i hope that helps
