I got refusal half hour ago for just one reason and that is
I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your purpose of visit.

What should I do I’m completely devastated right now

That's same i got in 2nd refusal, someone suggests me to show family assets and income from CA report.
Still waiting to hear from experts in this thread.

Based on this,my application was refused due to family ties and purpose of visit.My sister studies also in Canada.Might that be the reason?I reapplied again mentioning i have her there & she's doing her own studies to better her life and so they should take us as two different people.

but what about the expenses for education? Who is sponsoring her and is the same person sponsoring you?

Thanks for your reply...No I dont have any relatives in Canada ...this was just a 3 week family holiday plan since my son has christman holiday...
Also i have attached my son school certificates but no luck...i need to reapply again but ofcorse i need to have a very strong justification letter..i can even put some more additional documents like my India bank statement and my india house paper ...

your travel history is good so they should have not refused you for that reason. Did you attach visa copies?

purpose of visit is a vague reason. Either you did not explain your intentions in the SOP or you have missed documents. I would suggest that you order caips from caipsgcms.com and check what the officer has written in the notes. Based on those notes, you should then prepare a strong letter of explain and defend the refusal reasons.

She sponsored herself because she had been working for some years and my mother swore an affidavit to support her where necessary.My Dad is the one sponsoring me

I cant find a old post whose refusal reason was similar to yours but the gcms report said that brother is studying in Canada and another brother wants to go. It is a burden on the sponsors and hence funding not enough.

Okay, but i have already paid 1 year fee and GIC.
If this mentions in Caips notes, then how to answer the refusal?
Do CA report showing my property and dad's property along with FD's and current balance in account works?
Please help me out in this.

You should show everything that you have. CA valuation will also help.

Yes i did attached all my supporting visa copy but i have no idea why the refuse..can you help me the letter of explanation since im planning to apply again....

Do you have any expired passports?
