but earlier all these new additional steps were meant for those who are applying pr and all,i have seen this new rows in pr application statuses.
I think maybe they just simply made those common for everyone.

i dont think they go for background check in each student visa,thats time consuming.

Hi,

I submitted my Study Permit application yesterday but it didn't trigger the automatic biometrics request form and application submission confirmation. My application number isn't showing either and it says:

"Application status is currently unavailable. Please try again later."

Does anyone know what's going on? Do I need to contact CIC about a technical error?
