and for NSO i believe .. you need to send NSO birth certificate and NSO Marriage certificate ... just got to NATIONAL STATISTICS OFFICE TO GET THEM goodluck

Help me!!! I am not a Philippines, but CIC ask my dependents NBI and NSO. My daughter is in Canada now. Does she need Provide a fingerprint criminal check or a criminal record check?

NSO ( National statistics Office) is the primary statistical arm in the Philippine government, where we get authenticated birth/ marriage certificates & others. In your country there must be a counterpart or equivalent for it the same with NBI ( National Bureau of Investigation), where we submit our finger prints and get any criminal clearances , if i'm not mistaken in america it's FBI, so there must be a counterpart for it in your country also... if in canada, my husband submitted his finger prints when he requested for a police clearance in Canada, which he says a requirement also for 18 yrs old and above dependents... maybe you can call CIC for clarification of your requirements... hope this helps.

My husband is in China and it is no fingerprint in China. But he can get a criminal check there. My daughter will be 18 on this August and she is in BC. applied a criminal record check in BC today. Dose she need a fingerprint? I remembered I just hand a criminal record check in when I applied PR lady year.
