I received a letter from Irb for less complex case for file review process. I applied in Sep 2021 and got eligibility on last week of Feb 2022. Got work permit and less complex case letter right after a month. how much wait can I expect?

For me it taked about 10 month after file review letter, and they put me on a short hearing!

Which city? The more cases the more time it will take. I live in a small city so my file was fast. Big city slow process

There is no guarantee of a “fast” processing city since cases can be redistributed to other locations with virtual hearings. The largest cities tend to have the most applications. Pick where you can live and find a job versus what city you think may be the fastest because there are no guarantees it will be faster. The processing times are likely going to get longer because the borders are no longer closed.

Does RPD consider the time since you first applied or only since your application was referred to IRB ?
I applied in August 2020.
My application was referred to IRB on November 2021.
This month I received less complex case letter.

what should I expect?

So I submitted my documents on August 22nd,2022, I got a email today August 29th which is surprisingly quick my lawyer forward me a email from RPD asking for a letter stating ( information request ) in regards to me having a agreement with my child father .
