LA VAC Processing time

My application was received by IRCC on 06/18. So my current ETA would be 07/20? Or around that date? I have a trip abroad on 08/02. Do you think I’ll get my passport back before that?

Below is my timeline.

September 12, Thursday - I got Original Passport Request Letter in IRCC
September 13, Friday - Gathered all the documents and print all that’s necessary
September 14, Saturday - got the money orders and tried to courier assuming return label will be generated at Fedex, it is not. (Unnecessary delay)
September 16, Monday - I couriered the envelope first thing morning
September 17, Tuesday - VFS received it (tracking id will be generated and sent in the email mentioned in contact information page)
September 18, Wednesday - VFS Sent it to IRCC and IRCC changed the status to IN PROGRESS
September 19, Thursday - in IRCC account got a notification, “Your eligibility has been reviewed. Please see the final decision below.” (Visa is stamped)
September 20, Friday - The decision envelope for your application was sent from IRCC to VFS global. You’ll get 2 emails at this stage
The decision envelope for your application, tracking ID No. XXXX has been received from the IRCC Office ….
The decision envelope for your application, tracking ID No. XXXX has been couriered from the Canada Visa Application Centre ….
September 23, Monday - We received the passport in our hand 9:00 am in the morning.

They only deliver on weekdays and require signature so be available on the day when they deliver your passport.

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone has recently submitted their passport at the Los Angeles VAC and has gotten it back. Do you have any idea how long it’s currently taking them to process and return documents? They’ve had mine since September 17th, and I still have no updates. I’m a bit concerned because I have a trip out of the U.S. in mid-November and will need my passport. Any comments would be appreciated!

Hi, I hope you had received your passport from them. I submitted mine almost one month, and it is still under process. No further updates.
Could you please let me know how long it was talking to get it back if you had already received.
