I don’t think we know current timelines, given how few recent posts we have for this thread. You might be our current benchmark. Thank you for posting! Hopefully yours arrives quickly.
Update! Decision envelope dispatched from IRCC to LA VAC today.
3/22/24 - Sent to VAC (Friday)
3/25/24 - Received at VAC (Monday)
3/26/24 - Received and under processing at IRCC office
5/10/24 - Decision envelope dispatched from IRCC to VAC
Passport under process at IRCC on Apr 26. No updates since then. Looks like its taking more than a month ?
Anyone else around this timeline who already got their passport back/is stuck ?
5/03/24 (Friday) - Sent to VAC - LA
5/08/24 (Wednesday) - Received at VAC
5/09/24 (Thursday) - Received by IRCC and under processing. Assigned application tracking ID.
Based on some of the previous cases and my own application process from before, they seem to be operating on exact timelines: 1 month and 15 days (+-1). I expect mine (Received by IRCC on April 18) to be processed on/by next Tuesday. If that happens then everyone can expect the same
Mine and my dependent's passports were received and were in process at IRCC on 05/06 and 05/08. Today gckey updated to approved and showing document status for both our counterfoils.
No update from VFS yet, still says in process at IRCC.
I have received an update on my IRCC profile saying "Your eligibility has been reviewed. Your document is valid. Expiry date: 2024/10/03".
Still no update on VFS portal.

Got the following update today from VAC (06/03/2024):
The decision envelope for your application, tracking ID No. XXXXXXXXXX has been dispatched from the IRCC Office, to the Canada Visa Application Centre in Los Angeles.
My IRCC profile is already showing the final decision as 'Approved' since (05/30/2024)
Got the package in mail today but it wasn't without it's share of misadventures. We opened the envelope using scissors which essentially ripped the top section of my wife's COPR
When we got over that and started reading through the document, we realized it contained multiple errors.
1. My wife's gender is mentioned as "Male"
2. Our application category is mentioned as "SW1" (On passport it is correctly stamped as IM-1)
3. Country of issue of my passport is wrongly entered as India. It should have been USA since I had it renewed and issued at Houston
4. Country of residence is misspelled as "United States of Americ"
5. My wife's medical record is not updated. It is still showing her old IME number from 2022 on COPR. Our IRCC profile has updated IME number from 2023 test results.
Please suggest what would be the best course of action to get this resolved at the earliest as we were planning to enter Canada by early September.
