My Prohibitions finally completed today!

I am scheduled for the oath ceremony on the 19th of December and have a trip planned on the 24th of December. Does anyone know if it's possible to get the passport that fast? Should I reschedule one or the other? Thank you in advance!

I am not sure if they have pickup option for new citizens but with Canada Post being on strike, Its unlikely to get it before your trip as far as I know.

If you get certificate faster you can apply for express pickup. But do note it's holiday time.

Saturday i got an email on how to download my e-cert but haven't been called to take oath yet. Do you think it will happen soon :) getting excited now
 
We just got the invite for in-person oath taking.

I applied with my two kids 6 and 7.
In the letter, it says that the ceremony can last up to 1.30mins. Unfortunately given the needs of my kids, they can't stay attentive that long.

My question is can I go alone for the ceremony and still be able to get my kids certificates.

If I can, please will there be questions as to why I couldn't bring them.

When did you apply what was your timeline like?

It's been over 5 months for me and no update after the test passed! Still waiting for LPP
