It's helpful to put every ones timelines in one tracker to analyze trends between all offices in Canada plus you get to see how many applications each office receives per month. Whoever created this is a genius!
Hey guys,
I got the notification about the citizenship test completed on October 3, but after that, I did not get any news from the application.
Before the citizenship test, I got an email from the Vancouver office to complete the fingerprint information, so does this mean the Vancouver office is working on my file?
I have been waiting for news since October 3, is this normal?

i believe all finger print requests come from Vancouver. in the address bar of your test invite it usually says who is working on your file.
unfortunately it can take up to 6 months from time of the test to show progress
Also, one curiosity... I got the test request in August and completed the test. However, I have not got any fingerprint request, why my wife and son already have fingerprint requests too... Is that unusual? Is there a way to ask? What is GCMS?
Sydney is my secondary office and it’s processing my LPP, it’s been 4 months since my test was marked complete and since then there hasn’t been any progress. Why is Sydney office so slow? What’s the average preocessing time for that office?
Has anyone received a ghost update today? I have received it but nothing has changed. Still LPP in progress. Could it be the reason that I ordered GCMS notes and submitted a webform 2 days ago enquiring about the delay? Also the GU was only in my account, not in my wife and kid’s account.

I appreciate your response.
I use the short part (Raj) of my first name (Rajpreet) with my surname on LinkedIn and emails. Short names don't need to be disclosed? All my documents have my full name.
5 months trapped in lpp and nothing yet.
They implemented a systematic strategy to decrease the average processing time for citizenship from 24 months to 15 months. However, this involved prioritizing newer applicants, granting them citizenship within 3-4 months, and deviating from the first-come, first-served (FIFO) approach. Unfortunately, those of us in the backlog experienced prolonged waits and felt neglected.
