Also, as someone mentioned above, the citizenship tracker is not updated to reflect the current progress of many of the members here. It would be really convenient to have that as a context...

Anyone here got the BG check completed after FP request recently?
I submitted FP on Aug 12th and checked with RCMP and they informed the results were sent on Aug 26th via postal mail.
So just wondering how long will it take for IRCC to receive results and process to next stage

It's great you got a response from RCMP.. Sent an email but only got an auto-response not to send another and that they will respond in 5 days.. nothing from both..

Hello Dave, Thanks for the number. I called and was told the results were sent on Aug 26th as well... I asked and the Agent said it takes around 10 days to deliver and then IRCC will process(take their own sweet time..)

Should we able to link our citizenship application to our mycic account ? I am trying but all time it throws 503 error or no records found.
I have applied for citizenship online via New portal. Application in progress since 1st June 2022. No updates yet. All shows in progress and for test and Auth it is not started.

Linking to mycic account does not work. You need to create an account on https://cst-ssc.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/dashboard to check status of your application. I think you have already done that and what you seeing for your online application is on expected lines for online application.

Given the clear difference between processing times of online and paper applications, is it advisable to withdraw online application and file paper? Anyone who did that?
