How long does it take to change ecas status from IP to Background check complete?

You are mixing 2 kinds of status tools here
1. ECAS shows General status, once you get AOR it shows as Received, and when either Fingerprint request is received or BG is completed, it shows as In Process

2. Tracker portal is more detailed and it has individual status like BG , language, physical presence etc

For paper application, AOR to BG completed ( or FP request ) is 35-50 days
For online application, it takes way more time currently.

How do you know when did IRCC get the results? I gave my fingerprints on Aug 12, RCMP sent the results on Aug 26 and no further updates so far.
I know there was a long weekend, hoping IRCC updates my case this week.

You will get an update on tracker that shows the FP were received.

Hello Dave, Thanks for the number. I called and was told the results were sent on Aug 26th as well... I asked and the Agent said it takes around 10 days to deliver and then IRCC will process(take their own sweet time..)

@Pearly000 Did you see any update on your FP request?
I also think you got a test invite, are you done with the test?

I noticed that the activity slowed down since last week of August not only in June 2022 forum but also in March, April, May. July 2022 is lagging behind on ECAS changing to In Progress withing 40 days after AOR. Any thoughts on what's happening?

Hi guys... its bit confusing to me. I am able to see "In process (language,background,physical presence,prohibitions)" status in the citizenship tracker but couldn't find in the ECAS. what does it mean ?

My spouse had her BG check complete (aug 10), even she did not get test invite
