What do you mean by "everyday is being added to the processing time of PR renewal"? My PR is not gonna expire any time soon and I will definitely have my citizenship before it expires. But, I have heard that you just give them your PR at the ceremony even if it's expired. You're correct that our AORs are pretty delayed potentially because of COVID and the new online system they are trying to get used to. But, I don't think we can foresee what happens next. Who knows we might get the request for the test really quickly. Also, it's just a delay of 2 months if everything else gets over as fast as before.
I mean that they are increasing PR renewal processing time every day. Like when I applied in May it was 90 days...Last week it was 120 days, Yesterday it was 126 days. Pre-pandemic it was 30 days. If delays are happening in PR renewal then for sure citizenship processing times will be delayed

Hi Everyone - When I submitted my application on June 6th, the required documents list only asked for Bio Pages of my Passport. I believe the list was updated in Mid June or End of June. Would it result in my application returned?
Shall I raise a case specific inquiry and send the copy of all the passport pages? I applied online

new requirement is on paper application, while online still asks for bio page only
but they will ask for full colored passport copies by the time they started processing your application

Congrats! Can you send all the details of your application so we can add you to the tracker? Like # of physical presence days, single or family and location.
You should create an account using the application # they gave you in the AOR (it sometimes takes 24hrs before you can do so). They will probably contact you soon to do the citizenship test (in a couple of months or so). They might request other stuff so pay attention to your email and online account. The last step should be the ceremony. I think most of this stuff will be done online due to Covid though. I think you should expect to be Canadian in a year or so.
