Hi all.
Please help I need some clarification. I am applying for my 1st Canadaian passport. In the passport application form it asks to state any previous travel document. Is PR card considered a travel document whose details need to mentioned here?

In my case, I did not indicate my pr card because it does say in the application “passport, certificate of identity, or refugee travel document.“ I already have my passport so I am assuming that I was correct.

OK, it's been over "30 calendar days" since I made an ATIP request with no response whatsoever. Should I file a complaint about it..? Will it change anything..?

Same with mine. There is absolutely no ownership and accountability on any kind of delays when it comes to IRCC. If you complain using the grivenance email, it would take 2 months for them to respond. By then, you probably would have received your ATIP.

I had applied for ATIP on July 25 and got mine on Aug 29.

I applied on July 29th.. Have you seen any "ghost update", as if someone opened your profile to retrieve the requested information? Did it help anything in terms of the case progress?

Nothing. As per notes Citizenship granted. Waiting for oath ceremony since June 15, 2022

I cant remember the physical presence day but application sent on June 09, 2021 and didn't received oath letter yet. Hope that's okay lol

I'd wait 2-3 more weeks, then file a complaint here

Is there any progress in the ATIP request after complaint in this link?!
i have sent couple of ATIP requests on june 11 and july 10th.. still waiting for my GCMS notes. Couple of weeks back i have sent a complaint with all the required information to the above provided link. I got email stating that they will allocate a case officer & no email after that for 2 weeks. No update on my file from december 2021 after the test update.
Really feeling helpless & curious to know progress on my file

Hi guys,

I'm still waiting for my citizenship certificate after having taken my oath on Aug 4 (case closed on Aug 18). It is really frustrating to have to check the mail every day only to find nothing. I have no idea why it should take so long to arrive, and why there is no tracking service for such an important document.

Just asking out of curiosity, does the mail come in a small or large envelope, and does it come by regular post? In case it is large, I'm wondering how they will put it in a narrow mailbox? Would appreciate if someone could share their experience.
