I think IRCC has fallen asleep on online applicants. I applied online on June 27, September 23 AOR, and no updates since then, not even background check.

I just discovered this thread, I applied for citizenship online on June 7, 2021, and still haven't received the AOR.
Is anyone else in the same boat?

I have seen a few ppl getting the same error even if it's been a while since they got the AOR. The only option is to call IRCC and ask them to sync up everything from their end.

generally it takes few days before you can link application on tracker, which tracker are you trying? try both of these and see if one of them works

Nothing is happening for paper applicants as well. Not sure if July or August 2021 applicants have got background updates or test invites.
