Got my passport yesterday. The case finally closed.

My pr card is expiring this September 2022.

my timeline (I’ve posted multiple times but will put it again)
paper app June 2021 Scarborough office.
Test complete December 2021
BG check complete April 2022
Everything else still in process.

should I apply to renew my PR card now? Or worth waiting?

If you do not have any travels scheduled for the the next few months, I would suggest you can wait..
During Oath you can provide expired PR cards as well... (I wish and hope though you dont have to wait that long)

Seems like it will take forever for Niagara Falls office applicants . It’s the slowest till now .

Yes it seems that way, even though they were showing signs of being faster a few months ago! Hey we have almost the same exact timeline. I'm also being processed by Niagara Falls, although I'm in Ottawa, which has traditionally been the slowest. I also submitted online June 27 and took the test March 1, test status updated March 4, and radio silence since then

Language, physical presence and prohibitions are completed today! After almost 5,5 months of waiting after test completed December 31, 2021 (Montreal office).

I have exact same situation - Test completed in Dec 2021 background completed before the test & no updates after that.
My PR card is expiring in mid august.
visa processing office is mississauga.
I am hoping that we will get some updates soon! Good luck
