After you give your bio, your criminality will be passed.

All other stages should be progressing as usual. You can send a webform or request your GCMS notes and see the status of your application.

Agree @Kais767, if all other stages were completed and only the biometrics were outstanding then you are close to the final stages!

Ghost update/ GU is an email notification from IRCC (donotreply@cic.gc.ca) stating that your application has been updated but when you actually login to check the application status or to check messages there isn’t any update. But this is considered to be a good news because they are working on your application behind the scene.

Review Required is fairly common during the Eligibility review stage, based on the comments provided an officer needs to look over your application and move it to the next stage. Looks in good shape! See all the Stages of an Application

So I got to talk to a nice agent. I wish all people were like her, friendly and helpful and quick!
She said the update was officer passing criminality. Also eligibility recommended passed.

I was not lucky like you, my agent didn't want to talk much. He only mentioned "your application is going well and everything is in progress". I have to ask him again my eligibility, security and criminality and he mentioned they are in progress but security. I asked again and he said eligibility is passed, that's all. Poor me.

Received a request letter on 10.19 to confirm if I was in Canada while my answer is absolutely NOT. But I believe it means I've passed all the background checks. The last is waiting for the border's reopen.God bless!

No I didnt ask about that. That seemed like a mass bug to me.

Call again next week, last time I called them the agent told me to just check online and he cant see anything that I cant see in my profile.
