wait wat... even june 18 app has already got AOR, but me Jun4 still awaiting... called CIC yesterday she said they only processing up to May 28th I assume there is a lag between call centre system and IRCC processing timeline. What should I do? No return package whatsoever, at this point I dont even know if they lost my app or not. (It was delivered on 4th since delivery signature required)
I send my application on June 25th and finally I heard back from them!!!!
I just received my application package because there is a tick missing. I was wondering if I can just send back the same package after I complete that tick?

I also sent app. on Jun 5, no AOR - called CIC today - was told they are still on May 28 - which means that all until May 27 are done, and one can therefore assume that about 15 days gap is there between last and first application handled for same date.

To become a Canadian citizen, persons between 18 and 54 years of age on the date they signed their application must meet language and knowledge requirements: • Demonstrate competence in basic communication in English or French. • Ability to pass a written or oral test on the rights and responsibilities of citizenship.
If so, that's a generic statement. But if you didn't attach the proof with the application of your English meet the requirement then you will have to take the test to prove IRCC.
