I received a response from this agent a few days ago about the status of my medicals. Of course in my case her response was not generic. It seems that they don't spend all of their working time copying generic text and allocate 10% of their time giving specific answers!
I always love them who let me practice my typing and help me kill my time. I don't think IRCC needs to hire so many people to do Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V work. AI can do it better and more efficiently.

I am an FSW in-land June applicant. Montreal office. I know from GCMS notes that my application was approved in November.
I also know that an IM-1 visa was created for me in November. No PPR, no correspondence, or any other movement in my file since then.
Should I just go ahead and send my passport to the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa with a cover letter explaining my situation?
To be honest you have done almost everything that can be done. Since, you are inland I would suggest two more steps
1. Send a snail mail to Montreal's address as they don't have an email ID.
2. Meet your local MP and tell them file has been approved and you need help in getting PPR / landing interview. This is not expediting processing so may be they can reach some sane person in Montreal and get this going.
