I moved from USA to INDIA yesterday. AOR -- September
i will be employed with the same employer in INDIA as well.
What things I need to update CIC about the move.
I haven't moved my money from USA yet, as USA bank account is the one I showed as proof of fund ( also thought will move the money directly from USA to Canada )
Nothing yet bhai... Not sure if this would make a difference cause last I know my file was at Ottawa. Still waiting for the 3rd set of GCMS which is due on 9th of this months, to see if something has moved ahead. Hoping this week brings us some good fortune.
Thats the way to go bro. I know how tiring it is to wait in absolute dark... however there is nothing much we can do . Hoping that you will get it by this week. For sure !!! PPR ...
Every phase has its own personal hell ;-) and upsides too of course. Waiting for PPR you're not in control and can't do anything, no idea when then waiting will end, after PPR you have to take a big risk and do everything, which is scary in a different way
Now that I passed the interview I can comment on this
You are going to receive your PR Card within 2 months. It's necessary to bring your passport but it stays with you after the interview (I don't know if there are different rules for people from other countries).
The officer will ask questions such as "have you been deported from Canada?" or "Have you committed any crimes in other countries?". The entire process is very simple and quick (they will confirm some information about you but it is just to check if your file is correct). You leave the office with your COPR and that's it.
hi,
you decided to do interview instead of landing? were you sending passports for PR visa? I've recently received my golden email - to send passports to visa (BC PNP paper based) My so called express entry from May 2018 - background hasn't started yet even. Thanks Universe - paper based done after 17 months)
It'll probably return to status quo in a few weeks.
Remember when CSEs were being replied to in 20 minutes as opposed to 7 days? Now it's gone back to a minimum of 3 days.
NDVO will not reply till its either approved or they are very little workload, which is not the case. They are faster on issuing the COPR though, once you have the PPR, they are like, return the PP ASAP!
Hi All just received the classic reply from IRCC that my application is still under process! Yesterday my husband’s security screening completed the 6 months period. Our med will be expired in 2 months any thoughts?
