It probably can be for some reason, one which I can think of is that probably type of employment at both the places.
But I just hope such cases directly go to Officer and is not passed through another analyst at VO before going to an officer.
As such there seems to be many holes in the boat.
Every phase has its own personal hell ;-) and upsides too of course. Waiting for PPR you're not in control and can't do anything, no idea when then waiting will end, after PPR you have to take a big risk and do everything, which is scary in a different way

Nothing yet bhai... Not sure if this would make a difference cause last I know my file was at Ottawa. Still waiting for the 3rd set of GCMS which is due on 9th of this months, to see if something has moved ahead. Hoping this week brings us some good fortune.

Our timelines are pretty identical, except movement of application from CIO to CPC. Mine was moved in September 2019, but that's about it.
Have ordered notes last month. Let's see what comes first - PPR or GCMS notes.

One more case for May applicant where that person came to know that eligibility was review required after ordering 3 rd set of notes. Earlier 2 notes mentioned eligibility as met. Source - May thread
this morning i was checking the status of my paper application and it changed from "in progress" to "decision made". still not sure what is the decision, i will call ircc call center to verify that. but it seems like they have approved my paper application and stopped processing EE.

Not yet, hope to get it this week. May is thought of strategically lol. I will have enough time to decide if I resign or get internal transfer. Also thinking to soft land and then go back alone after couple of months to get myself set there before i call my fam there again.
Bro need to think about the family too . so maybe i'll do a softlanding and then after couple of months (by sep-oct) i'll come back alone to start job hunting and will call my fam after sometime. Just thinking. too many decisions to make and that makes it scary.
