No. I never received any ghost update. IP2 was on the 25th Oct. From my GCMS notes, I found out my file which was originally at London VO, was transferred to Kiev.

Guys what i saw from last many days post from people that shows
VO-Sydney,NS they are not working for EE files. They all are on some holidays. Coz as per current scanerio there is almost no movement in Sydney files.

Hello everyone
I confirmed with CIC agent on call that my file is approved and waiting for final PPR procedure. I have to travel to India on 23rd Nov and return on 27th Dec. I am not sure I would be able to get my PPR stamped before that looking at current delays. I have a valid work permit currently.
I have made up my mind to get my file transferred to India and get it stamped there itself with my spouse. Can anyone suggest me how much time will it take for IRCC webform response (for location change)? Is there any other way to get this sorted?

Dear ××××××× - I spoke to IRCC regarding your application received June 3, 2018. It is in Kiev.

Standard processing time is 6 months. This means 80% of routine applications are completed within that time frame, while 20% take longer.


Congratulations – the file was approved Oct 26, 2018.

You will receive notification and instructions in the coming weeks.

Medicals are valid until June 5, 2019.

My long standing theory is that the process has to balance out somehow. So a long wait for PPR probably will translate to less wait while searching for jobs or finding new home. Hope things balance out!
