Wow .. good to see 3 PPRs as this week ends. Hopefully things would be much faster in next two weeks. Some people say things were a little slow due to student visa rush during these weeks. Hoping EE visas get a priority now.

Also request to everyone whoever is calling the IRCC agents .. if your visa office is Montreal do update your details on the Montreal Visa thread. Waiting for a PPR news from Montreal.

Did you specifically ask them whether eligibility is recommended pass or not? I think most agents would just say the status as we see online unless specifically asked about recommended pass status. Even then some may not take the pains to actually dig and give you an answer. Just like Visa agents getting a helpful call agent is a matter of luck.

.....my call centre agent told that my background check is PARTIALLY COMPLETED ..security and criminility check is pending...My VO is in Ottawa .when I asked him if it was a IP1 or IP2 ...he said it was in IP2...My AOR is June 8th .....the interesting fact is that my IVR response still tells me my background check has not yet begun.......what is happening ?

IVR just reads out what you see on the CIC account. And it may not always reflect your true application status. It's a good thing your background check is on. From what I have read on this forum is that agents do not talk the IP1 and IP2 language so I wouldn't assign any significance to what he said. But seems like your application is moving which is a good sign and next week or two may be good for you.
