I have been in IP1 since 50+ days now.

I doubt it, there are people from April AoR still waiting on IP1. Be patient, wait your turn

ottawa is one of the quicker processing offices so consider yourself lucky

what does your background status say? everything depends on how good your experience letters are and if you are from a country chosen for security screening

Did you specifically ask them whether eligibility is recommended pass or not? I think most agents would just say the status as we see online unless specifically asked about recommended pass status. Even then some may not take the pains to actually dig and give you an answer. Just like Visa agents getting a helpful call agent is a matter of luck.
