I have submitted my application on 27th May 2012. Later i got request from embassy to submit original passport and one document which i submitted on 30th July along with self and family original passport. After I got one email from CIC to submit one additional document on 16th august and i submitted document on 21st august but no update on application or return of passport. We can't go outside as passport with them. I don't know when we will received our passport back. I am planning to go embassy and request them to return back my and family passport.

hi, my application was submitted last july 13 and I received acknowledgement of receipt and hopefully waiting for medical request...presently working here in saudi arabia...
hi, do you have the medical request already? my boyfriend is also working in Saudi Arabia, he just finished gathering all the documents he needed and the LMO and employment contract that I sent from here. Hope it won't take too long for him to have that medical request.

checked tracking number of my return envelope and as of today Sept 17 my envelope is on its way back to me. it has been 9 weeks, any thoughts? is that a good sign that it has taken that long and now it is being returned. I guess I will know within a day or two my fate. I am just curious if anyone has had similar luck and had visa approved
