hi everyone.. I'm a newbie here.. My Husband in Quebec received a letter dated September 4 2012 informing him that his sponsorship was approved. He sent his application last June 20... Anyone here whose sponsor is also from Quebec? Is it true that our application will take longer since Quebec is a territory?

Please let me know yr Complete Timeline ..so that i can add u in the spreadsheet...

Alright,

So my husband (British) and I (Canadian) have been together for 4 years. Got married last year in Canada. Sent in application for the family class sponsorship on June 22nd in Mississauga, Ontario. CIC received it on August 29th (due to backlog) and I have received an email saying that i have "met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor" on September 4th, 2012.

Haven't seen my husband since January This process is one of the longest and most stressful things I have had to deal with...

I got the PPR request by email.
I am the applicant and my husband is sponsoring me. PPR mail goes to applicant only. Please also look in the junk or spam folder of yr mail as sometimes it goes in spam folder also.

Dont worry..You will soon get the PPR mail. Yr file is already transferred.

Yes. I did. I took my husband's name. But it was not right before we sent our package. I did it 2.5 years ago, after we got married.

Hi everyone, just an update for those interested:
Our doctor sent all three medical forms to the london VO (instead of giving us one, sending one and keeping one). We then got a letter from CIC saying our application was incomplete and we needed to send them this form. After getting in touch with the manager of the Dr office, they get in contact with (after a week and a half of hassling) the London VO and explained the situation. Some nice person in London found my partners medical results, assigned him a UCI and quoted the medical # we needed to the Dr's office. They then gave us this number, along with a letter from them explaining what happened. We then sent this information back to Canada. It arrived on September 7th and we received sponsorship approval today (September 10th) YIPPPEEEEEEE!! So Smvi i guess you could put me down as AOR received August 22nd and approval on September 10th!

Been 21 days since we received the sponsor approval letter... Why is it that we havent receive the PPR till now? MANILA OFFICE is taking foreverrrr...
