yea may be i will be able to check after few days and one question my husbands( sponser) UCI and file num will remain the same for entire process or should i get one another UCI and file num from New Delhi ?????????????????

the numbers stay the same for the whole process and any correspondence should quote both those numbers......the VO might give a different file no. when they open your file but for reference purposes it will be the UCI # and Application # as stated on your approval.
So my husband (British) and I (Canadian) have been together for 4 years. Got married last year in Canada. Sent in application for the family class sponsorship on June 22nd in Mississauga, Ontario. CIC received it on August 29th (due to backlog) and I have received an email saying that i have "met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor" on September 4th, 2012.
Haven't seen my husband since January This process is one of the longest and most stressful things I have had to deal with...

hi everyone.. I'm a newbie here.. My Husband in Quebec received a letter dated September 4 2012 informing him that his sponsorship was approved. He sent his application last June 20... Anyone here whose sponsor is also from Quebec? Is it true that our application will take longer since Quebec is a territory?
