You have to check the status regularly to know the date. They won't mention the date of update in the account. You just have to check your account regularly to know the exact date. Even then, it takes 24 to 48 hours for the updates to show up in the account. If I'm not wrong, you already had the update when you linked the application, right? If so, it's really taking long for you and you should mail them which you already did! You can't do anything other than hoping for an outcome. I'm really sorry and I know how it feels to go through this. My passport has valid visas which lets me to travel to several countries and the last thing that I want right now is a missing passport.

And most important point cic reduced their processing time again from 7 to 6 weeks and for me it's 8th week started

Hey y u didn't attached ur flight tickets along with that request letter it will hurry up ur process couz I seen some guys mentioned like they booked their flight tickets and attached with request letter and got visa within 3 to 4 days

Dude I cancelled my. Tickets wen I. Drop the letter. I booked on. 25th and kept it open for succha long time but no response

One of my Frnd went to Bangalore visa office. He applied on July 25th he knows that it will take time to get visa, so he went directly and requested but still he is waiting may be by tommorow he will get visa. In Bangalore visa office they cleared July 24th applicants files yesterday. But it's just a try am not sure we will get it quick like that couz in his case he didn't completed normal processing time in our case we completed normal processing time so it might work for us
