Hi guys,

I have applied on 24th July from Delhi VFS and my medicals got updated on 25th aug, it's been so many days still there is no movement in the process and my college starts on 6th September. Don't know what to do ? Getting tensed. Why are they taking so long to process applications I'm not at all understanding

I applied on 21st July from Chennai VFS and it was sent to Delhi! They started reviewing my application on 25th August but I haven't heard back from them so far. Bangalore applicants are at least hearing back from the embassy but not sure what's happening in Delhi since Friday. Last but not least, They haven't updated my medicals yet. Hang in there, buddy!

The situation is same here even in Delhi. Infact it is worst here. People who have applied later are getting approvals but me.

I did say situation is worse in Delhi and I don't think anyone heard from them except one or two in last few days.

True- Delhi is worst specially online. My online application is approved and they have not sent me a passport request letter, I am waiting from last 10 days this letter to submit the passport. Tried to contact vfs and email vac, but no reply from there end.

Actually I'm from Hyderabad. I feel that I have done a big mistake by sending my application to Delhi VFS, should have sent it to Bangalore.

How did u know tht it was reviewed on 25thu august? We're did u get the dates?

Kept checking then on regular basis. Got an update on Friday. That's how I knew. Someone told me they generally come to final decision within a day or two after reviewing the application. However, this is not true for everyone.

Hi Rachel,
You have to check the status regularly to know the date. They won't mention the date of update in the account. You just have to check your account regularly to know the exact date. Even then, it takes 24 to 48 hours for the updates to show up in the account. If I'm not wrong, you already had the update when you linked the application, right? If so, it's really taking long for you and you should mail them which you already did! You can't do anything other than hoping for an outcome. I'm really sorry and I know how it feels to go through this. Even, I'm waiting for more than 5 days since the 'review of eligibility' update and mind you I haven't got any update regarding the medical. So, I don't know what exactly happening to my application. I just hope for everyone including me to get approvals no matter how long they take instead of getting refusals. I think the number of refusals has gone drastically low in the past few days as I don't see any refusal threads here anymore. People pray to god for an outcome but since I'm an atheist, all I could do right now is to think about what's going on. In fact, I'm worried whether they got my application on whole. My passport has valid visas which lets me to travel to several countries and the last thing that I want right now is a missing passport.

Vancouver film school. last week they called me regarding Orientation. i explained everything then they sent me late acceptance letter that easy. BTW Processing times changed to 6 weeks we probably hear from then soon.

Oh that's cool. Nice of your school to do so. I keep reading that some schools don't allow extensions. Haven't mailed my school yet. Thanks for the info @spook.
