What is the current lead time between DM and oath ceremony?

It's very dependent on the local processing office. Seems to be between 1-6 months. I'm in Ottawa for example and have been waiting since Nov 3 after I got DM'd. Montreal Vancoiver and Missis seems to be more 6 months. Congrats and best of luck

Congrats. I got DM on Jan 10 and Oath on tracker showed up Jan 25. Email Jan 27. So you should hear good news in two weeks. Check your traker, you will see update there before they send you email.


I know there was an oath on Jan 26 and Feb 2. So i assume every Wednesday, may be

Here is my timeline after DM:
Nov 26, 2021: Status in eCAS changed to DM
Dec 16, 2021: Status tracker says scheduled for oath ceremony on Jan 18, 2022
Jan 5, 2022: Received official oath ceremony invitation via email.
Jan 18, 2022: Attended Oath ceremony.

So, lead time for me was about two months. Hope this helps.

Some get their files closed the next few days (see this), and some who did the ceremony on Jan 26th still have ceremony in progress. I know someone who did the ceremony on Dec 16th still waiting. No pattern whatsoever.

Hi All, my Oath is on 9th Feb and I still have not received the letter in my email. Would anyone have any insight on how to proceed? I did open a web form today but not sure if I will get a reply in time. Does anyone have the Scarborough office email that I can reach out to?
