I called them twice today..was able to get through the agent but the agent won't help. They simply says resources are shifted due to Afghanistan crisis

I am not sure about the options just followed for citizenship status option. I called around 10 am and 2 pm.

Hi All, Its been 3 months since I have passed the test and 2 months since I submitted passport copies but do not see any update yet. At this point my PR card has also expired. Any suggestions if I should wait it out or apply for a new PR card as based on the timelines both may happen at around the same time.

Go ahead and apply for renewal application for your PR. Citizenship application may take another year.

I think I should take my words back as it seems Mississauga office will invite us for oath as family. My wife's tracker is updated for test even though she is Feb 2021 applicant. I think the only reason for this early test is to invite us for oath together as I believe currently Mississauga offices is sending test invites to Sep 2020 applicants (Please correct me if I am wrong).
Her test window is from 4th August to 24th August.

My spouse got "Decision Made" today where as I am still waiting for the Oath. Most likely we 'll get oath request together now as a family. I wrote to them last week about my ceremony and they replied me that I 'll be contacted in "Near Future" for ceremony instead of standard reply "You will be scheduled in due course".

Got an invitation to complete my citizenship test online Aug 30th, 2021.

They gave me from Sept 2nd to Sept 22nd to complete it
