Hello, I recieved an invitation to do the online test, but I want to reschedule it Becuase I am out side canada, and the country I am in restricted leaving it unless I am fully vaccinated, so if I reschedule my test any idea how long will it take to do the test again?

Some people say 3 - 6 months. Others are waiting more than a year

Rescheduling means another 6-9 months of waiting back in the queue.

I checked with my friend from calgary. And he has background check complete as well. Sounds interesting. Is background complete and everything in process a generic template?

Hello, just wondering, what do we need to do after the online test? Do we need to do oath and how long will it takes to finish everything after the online test?

As you may have seen the test results are not final, so as of next steps:
1. IRCC officer will review your test (Photos captured etc.) and your status in the portal - https://cst-ssc.apps.cic.gc.ca/en will change to "completed"
2. Notice to appear for Citizenship Ceremony (Oath)
3. You are officially a Canadian Citizen after you take the oath of citizenship.
4. Official sources state that you need to wait a minimum of 2 business days before you can apply for a Canadian Passport.

If your home country doesn't support dual citizenship then:
4.a) Follows the citizenship renunciation procedures mentioned in the official embassy website.
4.b) See if Canadians have option for visa on arrival for your home country, If not, you may have to apply for visitor visa (In future).

Hi, mine still says April 23 on the top right of the page. Maybe yours is now with the local office and that's why it's been updated.
