I got a random thought....I am from Saskatchewan and Saskatoon office is smaller, while for example Calgary office is bigger. Does it mean i can go faster because less people apply in SK? Or will it be slower?
You have to check the spread sheet for previous years to see the trend. In my opinion there will not be a major difference as lower applications means lower resources to be deployed to that particular office.
My status in ecas is 'Application Received' and I am still waiting for AOR. In the nearest future(a month or so), I am moving out of a province.
As I understand, I need to call IRCC and tell them my new address to be changed in the system. Guys, do I need to do anything else in my situation? Is it safe to change location when my application is received? Just don't want to get in trouble or lose any feedback from IRCC. Thanks

Hi All, My status in ECAS is 'Application Received'(no AOR email yet) since last few days. Last Sunday I requested to update my home and mailing address(I moved in December so address changed). I see today that the new address is updated correctly. However I see only one box for 'Home Address' and no box for 'Mailing Address' anymore(which was the initial case last Sunday and both had different addresses then). Is it because my Home and Mailing addresses are updated as same now?
I have filled a couple of web forms on 05-Jan-2021 but no news yet. any idea how many days nowadays it's taking for the response. Post filling the form it says 2-5 business days.
