Hello Friends, Do you know at what stage IRCC will check for Tax filing with Canada Revenue Agency(CRA). I m not remembering if i have entered the tax years under question 12 b. App received on 15-July and Still waiting for AOR

I saw similar question on fb group. The person forgot to mark checkbox to allow CIC to access TAX data.

Did you put SIN number and checked yes?

Hello Antoine, Thanks for the quick response. That's correct. I have entered my SIN number and also Selected "Yes".

My only error assuming is I didn't enter the 5 Tax years(2019-2015) . Whereas selected " Required to file" and "Tax filed" as "Yes". Just thought of checking before the AOR IRCC will check and if anything needs to be coordinated then will do before issuing the AOR or they will send the papers back.

It's been long waiitng.

I started studying for the test. I know it is long time away. Just want to start earlier. I use audio book of discover canada, paperbook. So i highlight in paper copy if i hear something important

I recomend to download Canadian Citizenship App on the phone for practice. 13 tests are free. $4.99 opens 23 tests.

Some questions are easy, some are more complicated. Some just pure memorization.

With me it is more like i can remember a lot but not for 6 months so i will need to practice often.

How do you folks check the status in ECAS if you don't have AOR yet? What identification do you provide to the form?
I tried everything from PR card number (dashes/no dashes) to UCI and basically any numbers I found from any previous communication with CIC and I always get this reply:

Guys CIC just started processing remaining of July applications you might be next probably first week of Jan. Just use your UCI number it should work if not you have to wait.
