Hello All,

When the immigration says we don't have your application on the file, what does this mean?

Does it mean they haven't opened my package from the post?

Could it mean the package was lost?

Canada Post deliverey statue says my package was delivered on July 15th.

No AOR yet.

i am not sure to be honest i am in the same boat.What worries me is that taking 6 months for just AoR we just lost 6 out 12 months processing time. Then 2 months for in process and then “covid” this will drag beyond 2022!!

and if they lost our application it is even worse

what i can say finger crossed and good luck hopefully you will hear something before Christmas

Can application still be returned as it’s 5 months ? I remember there were returns in September, not after that for July applicants ?

@GARRY2262 Hi Garry. I would not worry for now. I was monitoring spreadsheet. There were no movement for a week now in July and August. Some September aplicants get AOR. Latest ones Sep 22, so that's good. Once they skim through september they will come back to July and August. Btw, i do not think there was second wave yet. It almost felt like they touched July 2 and 3 people and that's it.

I would not worry because on spreadsheet there is only 52%. Garry you are not yourself.

I hope they come back to july soon

I would say it is smaller. I might be wrong.

Lets say u miss signature, u will get it back right away. I think all applications get initial check. Can they be returned? Possibly. With july being half done, most remaining july applicants will get aors.

I was checking the number from received to aor and in different months and applicants it is different.

I read somewhere that AOR takes 4-7 months

If application is returned, do they send an email saying so + mail to the address, or do they only send paper mail ? Any idea ?
