Hi Garry,

It is hard to say. When they were returning applications first time it was 1-2 months before AOR. I might be wrong

I applied on 29 june and application delivered on 3 july , i did not get AOR in email but ecas shows

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on July 3, 2020.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on December 7, 2020.

my application was sent in on July 21, received on July 27. No news or AOR yet

I have since moved to a new place, so I'm wondering if the IRCC sends the AOR as an email or physical mail only? Can someone who received their AOR confirm? What should I do to inform IRCC if my change of address after the application has been submitted?

Hello Everyone i submitted my citizenship file on July 20th 2020 , delivered 23rd july 2020. Not heard anything Since then no letter no email no nothing . Should i wait or contact them somehow ? Any suggestions please.

Which search criteria did you use? UID or Receipt number?

Call them and double check that they correctly input your email in their system. You may miss other inportant emails as well in the future.

Depends on the what you provided in your application. If you did give them ur email, you should be getting an email correspondence for AOR. If your application is complete for any reason it may be returned to your address. You cannot update your address unless an AOR is issued by IRCC.

Just heads up. I tried to change address on ecas. It took probably 4 days. Now ecas shows new address
