Hi, I receive AOR last month. Now me and my spouse's PR card is expiring next March. Wondering should I renew now or wait for citizenship application to complete. Anyone renew PR card recently. Do we need to inform cic after renewal? Any good thread on this forum on the renewal process?

Do u plan to travel in the future before receiving citizenship? I assume yes, so to be safe renew card.

Is there a fb group for each month's applicants? Or just a general one for all applicants? Can you please share the name/link? I searched and there are a lot of results, dont want to join all. Thanks!

Hi @rodrash007 . They do. But they definately repeat in one way or another. Lets say 20 questions and 100 000 people waiting for test. Thats 2 mil questions.

May be it is me but i am all for integrity

Discover Canada has a lot of information. Some stuff is easier than other. I will probably read it 3 times myself. It might take more time and effort

I do not try to judge others. I just do not want one guy ruin it for all of us.

Guys, is it possible to change my name in the citizenship grant? I just want to remove some stupid suffix I have. I hate those Indian names with suffixes. Makes them utterly long.

You should have changed it before your citizenship application so its straight forward. I did mine when I was PR. If you do it now it’ll affect your processing tome I guess, because of sending the name change documents to CIC and them to verify it...!!!
