I talked with friend who is sponsoring spouse. It does not make sense how applications are getting aors. Why do july people get aor before they are done june, same why do august people not wait for july. I am not trying to be negative but if u guys look at spreadsheet, 50% july and 35% august

I have no clue what is their process. Is it that they are taking more time to look in each application or they are just not updating the system, maybe it depends on the officer workflow. It is disappointing to see August getting AORs before us but the same can be said about May and June applicants who didn't receive AORs.
The people who tell you stop complaining/calling and be thankful are the people who got the AORs so they have nothing to worry about.
Good luck to everyone. I had received mine around 10.30 PM eastern time. But I assume it's because of the emails might be being sent later in the day by an automated system.

My wife recently applied for citizenship. There was a question whether she filed taxes in the last 5 years. She did for 2017, 2018 and 2019 and she marked as yes for both required to file and taxes filed. This was done with help from CRA. However did she also have to mention 2016 and 2015. She immigrated to Canada in August of 2017. Was never in Canada before that. So she only mentioned those 3 years.
Looking for anyone with same experience to answer. If they got AOR.
