Finally the wait is over for me.My oath status was updated to in progress today on the 12th of august.Oath Scheduled for December 13th.I am a July 2020 applicant.I want to know if the oath is going to be in person or online.I haven’t received an email for instructions yet.

Finally the wait is over for me.My oath status was updated to in progress today on the 12th of august.Oath Scheduled for December 13th.I am a July 2020 applicant.I want to know if the oath is going to be in person or online.I haven’t received an email for instructions yet.

Oath will be online unless otherwise stated. You'll receive an email only about a week or two before the ceremony date.

It may take time to change anything, but probably they will make our lives harder if our applications get delayed long enough to allow them to make changes.

Someone posted in a Facebook group that her husband got a call for an in-person oath ceremony for only 15 people in Toronto and he was asked to bring proof of his vaccination.
Do check the post.

Don't keep on posting this in every thread. If they start in-person ceremony, you will get to know by others.

Concervatives will not win. They do not have a strong candidate

Liberals will go again

And we will have new Immigration Minister

Even if party changes, nothing can change CIC. CIC is an autonomous rogue institution which is part of Canada but not part of regular Canada.
So we should never worry/expect about party/minister change since no change will happen.
