Thank you I was able to do it with UPS, I created a return shipping Label from Paris VO to my address

Awesome! Make sure you keep a copy of the shipping label. Once your COPR is generated, your application will show approved in your MyCIC account. This will be an indicator that your Passport is being worked on.

And when the package is shipped, your tracking number will show up, and you will be sure that the package is shipped and on the way to you!

BIL -Aug 31st.
Recommended Passed(by Case Analyst) - 10th October (GCMS)
Bio-metrics- Nov 16th
VO - Ottawa

Called IRCC today and agent told no further updates which means since Oct 10th its not been touched by anyone.

No. I just called today to see if there is any progress after I complete Bio-metrics.

Usually they start background check right after biometrics. No need to worry, you are within the time line. good luck

CIC login problem seems to be with Chrome, I tried iExplore and able to login successfully.

And what makes you think they favor outland applicants compared to inland?

Yes , I have them from my online account. Normally how long it takes for COPR once passports are with Embassy.

It depends and varies from VO to VO, but usually 2-4 weeks.

I have checked other forums and was shocked to know that there are applicants who submitted as late as February still no response from CIC. So if it got beyond 6 months it's their new normal I presume. It's crazy others got their PR in less than 6 months while others go way beyond! Christmas is just around the corner so will expect more delays..
