Security only starts after eligibility is passed. So if your security has initiated, then most likely your eligibility should be passed. However, you can send a webform and inquire.
Yes, the criminality happens along with R10 based on the PCCs. The criminality will stay pending until the biometrics are provided.
No, criminality and eligibility are not interrelated. Once your eligibility is conclusively passed, your security will start, even though your criminality can still be in progress.
May I ask , bio numbers was shown on your profile same date with MEP (in top section of profile) , then in nov06 you got something in BIO section (like you passed bio on nov6) ?

My AOR date is July 22. I am bio exempt and it hasn't been updated. I had 3 ghost updates so far and the latest was a month ago. My background check status has been the following since Sep 14 that I passed my medical.
We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
I got GCMS notes a few months back (very early on!) and I know that my primary visa office is Ottawa and the secondary is Edmonton.
It seems to me that things are not really moving forward. I hope this helps someone!

Hey guys today I called IRCC to check on my application by entering my application number and DOB. I noticed that biometric was not mentioned at all and my background changed from "Background check: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." To "we are processing your background check."
any idea what this might mean?
