July 2019 - Citizenship Applicants

I got two test Invite emails (i.e. for myself and wife) yesterday on 25th Nov 2019 for test/ interview on 16th Jan 2020 evening. Please update the record. I did not get test/interview invite email for my 8 years old son, I know they don't need to appear in test, but is it normal not to get email for kids?

Looks like test invites are raining for Calgary applicants. I don't see any movement for Ontario - GTA applicants. The spreadsheet shows May and June applicants from the Toronto area are also waiting for test invites.

@pmary my Ecas added the 4th line today after I got the test invite yesterday morning. I think after they send you the correspondence via email your ecas will be updated on the next day.

PS. I just reschedule my test date and I mentioned that I can take the test before or after my job training. I hope they respond quickly and give me the new date ASAP

Hi, does everyone get an FP request? Or, do they only get it if they haven't got it done for PR application?
Do people get a test invite without ever having been fingerprinted during the entire immigration process?
Once you get a test invite and pass, is citizenship granted same day? Is the ceremony attendance a must...the reason I ask is that I live overseas and need to plan accordingly.

Does anybody know, how much time its taking for vancouver applicants to get the test invite?

April and May are seeing invites right now. There is a Vancouver fraser valley thread going, although not eveyone updates there. My coworker is May 29th...and I have had the same timeline as her son far. She doesnt have the test invite yet.

ECAS doesn't update until the next working day after you receive AOR. Don't panic, if you received AOR they have your application and ECAS will update shortly.
