Application send July 16 2019
Application received July 18 2019
Physical presence 1164
City Brampton
AOR received September 27,2019
Application type single
I guess it does but not all the time - not sure how CIC picks up the application from the pile. May be Officers are allocated as per the regions ; and some officers may work fast; same may work slow.. not sure..
Update! I can't log into my client application status check so i called them. Just got off the phone with CIC call centre and they said my ecas says "In Progress" as of right now. For anyone wondering when you go from "Received" to "In Progress " on the website.
Please update the spread again. Good to know things are moving along.

I would log in tomorrow and see what it actually says. You'd be the first to have "In Process" for July, if it does say it. Toronto Office has been looking at apps delivered late May and early June right now according to the spreadsheet.

Hi,
I think "In Progress" doesn't mean "In Process"
If they said your application is "In Progress" it means it goes on its normal and routine way of progress. You have to be able to check your ECAS and see "In Process" line to be sure your local office received your application and they really start working on that.
Hey Guys, A question, after receiving the AOR, does the online system tells if they have sent the Test date and Oath date? or does it remain "In-Process" through out all the stages?

I think there are 3 stages - Application Received (when we get AOR), In Process (when local office starts working on our file) and Decision Made (post test/interview - when final decision is made). All intermediary communication (during in-process stage) is trough email/mail.
