Folks, Please help!
I am July 3rd Applicant and haven't received any file transferred email. I am sponsor and desperately wanted to talk CIC so called them but they refused to reveal any information. Now i am asking my wife in India to call CIC. Noe ppl say to use Skype and call 1-888-242-2100 but it does not work all we hear is a ring. Please guide us how and to which number we should call CIC from India?

I got AOR on Friday, then few hours later they requested Police Clearance from my husband. He did his clearance on Monday, waiting for the results to go back Sydney

Okay. Thanks for replying. We submitted our Police clearance upfront. I just checked ecas this morning and it shows decision made for me (sponsor) but we haven't received any email and there's nothing in GCKey. I was just wondering if it's the same across board for July 9 applicants. I was also wondering when we'll get updates on the decision made (hopefully a good one)?

Mine PC was not required upfront, some countries are different. That's a good sign, just wait a bit as sites do take up to update.

I have been able to link the application number to CGKEY, but when we make a research on ECAS, it does not find nothing. We will do the request for police clearance this week and it will be sent directly to CIC from the agency. Is it normal I can't find nothing yet?

Just an update, our file was received on July 11th, I'm the sponsor, sponsoring my wife.

I received a temporary file number (starting with XF) around August but no updates other than that since then. I've been able to check the status of the application through the automated call / telephone system through the temporary number but nothing would show up on ECAS or GCKey. To check on the call system, I press 1-1-2-3, then put in the application number, year of birth for the applicant and it would tell me that it was received on July 11th, 2018.

But today the message on the call changed and it mentioned that they don't need medical exams or any extra documents at the moment, and also that the eligibility hasn't started yet. Along with that, I was also able to check the status of the application on ECAS (I just removed X from the file number and put in all the details for the applicant i.e. my wife's DOB, country of birth and surname/last name.)

I see in ECAS that it is "In Process". I'm hoping that they've either sent the AOR or they will soon. I've a representative so I'll call him soon and ask if he's received anything yet.

Yes, this usually indicates you'll be getting AOR 1 in a couple of minutes, hours or days (depending on the agent handling your case). Congratulations! Have you tried linking on GCKey again?

Very weird...

We are july 9th applicants and have not received even AOR.

However,
I was able to check the status on ECAS, as well as link the application to my CIC account earlier this week.

Earlier, ECAS showed the Sponsor Application status and Permanent Resident status as 'In Progress' starting October 28th.

Today, Just checked it again and the SA status has changed to 'Decision Made'.

But still no email, AORs or anything. How is it possible?
