You should try again. I have a rep on my file however as a Sponsor they can still give out the information by verifying your identity.

I too got the information of my part like about Sponsor approval and Medical when i called them but they refused to give any information of my spouse part.

I called this morning, July 19 applicant. Still no word - 3 weeks ago the call center had sent internal communication to the officer handling the file...apparently the officer has not responded yet. Its a wait game

July 11th...nothing yet

I applied for my wife and son living in outside Canada for PR sponsorship around the end of July and I learnt that my application reached Sydney, Nova Scotia on July 27th. Yet waiting for the AOR Since my application did not have option C (Not to mention it took 5 months for CRA to process my taxes for the first time hence had no choice than not to wait any longer) I chose to provide other documents instead as in the checklist like a letter explaining my situation along with T1 general, T4s and pay stubs, I thought that this could be a reason for the delay. Now and from the following link I see I am not alone.

Also, I feel the Sydney, Nova Scotia office is being rather slow in comparison to the once in place Missisauga counterparts whose operations on Family sponsorship got moved to the former after June.

Not sure how many days ought I need to be waiting missing my family, especially my son. Keeping my fingers crossed. Cheers
