She said that my eligibility, medical and criminality has passed...background check is in progress more specifically security check...On Nov. 27 they said my file is at Ottawa and now they are saying the centralized office taking care of you application is Nova Scotia and they'll contact you if they need any more info...

Thing is I've my CFA exam in June and I've chosen Toronto as my centre for exam..and I can change my centre till March end...

Sorry not sure I see the connection between your CFA exam and timeline. Is your continued stay dependent on your PR?

I'm based in New Delhi as of now and I can chose New Delhi. But I chose Toronto as my centre as I was hoping to receive PR by then and relocate there. But now that there seems to be delay not sure for how long I've to decide changing my exam centre, but I've to deicide till March.

I admire your positivity of choosing the center as Toronto. Let's hope you don't have to change it. In any case you have two more months in your bag. That is ample time to take decision one way or the other.

Thanks Cansha for the wishes...are you also appearing? And hope I've some more clarity before march end..hence was thinking of ordering GCMS now...considering 35-40 days for them to deliver the notes..

Hi..just got off from a call with an agent. She said by SS is in progress (had earlier called on Nov. 27 and they said the same). But this time they said that my file is in Nova Scotia though earlier it was in Ottawa. The agent also told that the file is yet to be approved. Not sure what to do next.. Should I order GCMS notes as it's under SS for close to 1.5 month...? @tobs @cansha

As per bc time try to call 4:30 am then next 15 mintue u will be connect with agent . I have done two times.but have to wake ealry monring rather than keep waiting long.
