I'm quite sure this question has been answered before but Im bit of panic so would like to ask it here.

We just sent out our application, It's been 1.5 weeks since it has been received and came to realize that the pictures for PR are incorrect measurements. the face size is not correct (max 36 mm etc).


Can we take new pictures and send them out again? is it better to send them to the office where my hubby's case will be processed? (abu dhabi)

If someone can assist with this question that will be great thank you.

i would say no. you dont know for sure where they will process. they may not even return the application. in our case they just sent a request for the correct sized ones after we received the SA... i wouldnt worry too much

Here is my timeline:
Sponsoring my wife from India
Submitted my Application on 7th July 2017
Received on 10th July (Confirmed by Canada Post)

I did not receive any correspondence from other side yet.
Is there anyone with the same timeline or July applicant?
I really appreciate that if someone advise me on how long they usually take to send Acknowledgement Of Receipt

when did you submit your app?

Once you (the Prinicipal Applicant) have made an account and linked your application there will be a "View Submitted Application" option at the very bottom left hand side of the Application/Profile Details page... you can upload there

it's too early to say all you need to do is wait once it hits 30 days then give them a call i suggest

Hi,

I'm a June applicant. AOR 1 Aug ,sponsor's Ecas was updated to decision made on 11th Aug & a email was received on 15th Aug around 7 pm. Hope it helps.

I just called IRCC regarding the status of my application and the agent said they are processing June 27th applications, which is a bit odd because some people in July got their AOR. So my guess is if you haven't received your AOR yet be patient, there are good chances that they haven't open your package yet. My application was received on July 14th.

they assign an agent, they open the file and look through if the file is good, nothing missing etc. then they draft aor and send it to you
