It's been 2 months since I applied for my temporary work visa.I sent an inquiry to the embassy about the current status of my application last Aug 29 and they only had an auto response.But when I checked my email,the embassy sent an email again on Sept18 with the file number they have given W**********(10digit number) as the subject of the message which states:
Dear Sir/Madam,
This is in response to your recent email enquiry.
Processing of your application will be finalized shortly.
We trust that this information will be of assistance.
Immigration Section / Section de l’immigration/DK
Canadian Embassy / Ambassade du Canada
Abu Dhabi
For all e-mail correspondence with our office, we request you to use the enquiries form at:
http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/uae-eau/visas/enquiry-how_demande-comment.aspx
Always include the applicant's full name, date of birth, and file number in your message.
Please include all your questions in a single message. In order to serve all clients better, we are not able to reply to multiple messages from the same client.

Guys this is a good news that they are currently working on July applicants.I think sending an email inquiry will be of great help.God bless us all!
i agree that sending them mail helps in the progress of the application..
after 10 weeks of waitingi tried sending them mail also . i have received automated reply also but without them giving file number. then after a week received my application back with visa stamp..
in your case, meaning to say, they are already on the process with your application, since they have opened u a file..
this is good sign,. keep the faith, continue praying.. Godbless po..

.. ofcourse, its us fellow applicant can boost each other... yeah really indeed a test of patience.. but for the moment, make ur self busy.. or else you'll caught urself sleepless.. heheh... make the most of it by praying..
The wait is over!Just got my visa today!I can't explain how I feel.It's a mixed emotions..It came on the least expected moment.Thank you so much to everyone who had shared their experiences here in the forum which is very helpful and reliable.You guys have been of great help to me
