So, if you think your case was strong and you got a refusal, it is a clear indicator to do a JR if they dont do reconsideration. Dont give up and let someone destroy your dreams due to some error or someone not looking at your file thoroughly.

Ok. I have not heard of any that got refused after it got reopened. At least I do not have the data.

What I do know is that, in some case, there is a req for Additional docs depending on the nature of the visa application.

There are 3 cases overall who got success in JR and later refused from different officer. One again did Jr and then judge was too angry on visa officer decision. Its a famous case from UK for a Chinese student. One indian lady from india judge dismissed in final hearing even her case was reopened on reconsideration and later in JR her case was dismissed by judge

In my case InshaAllah i will not sit them relax if they refuse me again. I did JR on second application and got settlement. If incase they refuse i still can open JR on 3rd refusal on 25 Jan and deadline for JR is likely 22 March

your refusals came so quickly, just after one month of applications, how can someone do such a quick review on files like this? is this the timeline for SP for applications coming out of UAE?

I got settlement on 14 july 2021 and filled discontinuance on 19 july 2021..still waiting for reopening file ..visa office New Delhi...closed work permit...
Application status still showing Refused..

Can you not follow up? I Mean what is the timeline for reopening?

Also, how do you know your visa office is New Delhi? Is it based on the office mentioned in the refusal letter?

Yes i applied for work permit in New delhi visa office and the name of visa office was also mentioned in Refusal letter..
After settlement obviously file will be reopen again in New Delhi visa office...
I always call to IRCC to know my application status bit its still refused..my consultant also said that there is nothing changes in my GCC Account and they have not received any email from ircc ragrding my application..its crossed 7 months but still waiting for reopening

Yes they send them email regarding this but immigration lawyer reply following on this..
To follow up on I’ve made my client aware of your concern below. As I understand it, they anticipate that the visa office will be contacting you in the near future about providing further submissions per our settlement terms last summer.

This is a very generic response without any timeline sadly.

Is there any way to follow up at all or you just have to wait indefinitely?
