I am wondering if I should call IRCC and see what is happening. AOR 23 January, GU Feb 15. But nothing has changed in the application. Location Calgary.
for citizenship applications, there is a date on top right of the tracker(which you create). This date is the date when the application was last updated/touched in the background by IRCC.
If there are new updates along with the date change, you will see "New updates" mentioned in the application and this is a new status change/update.
If you see just the date updated at the top right and no "New updates", this is what is called a ghost update and there is NO actual change/progress in any of the application steps.
Ghost update = Only the date change on top right and no respective change in application status.

December 2023 applicant here from Calgary as well, don't believe there's a processing office in Calgary although some test emails (including mine) have come from there. I believe applications from Alberta (based on others and myself) are processed primarily at the Vancouver office with Sydney as the secondary.
As to your point about being slow with updates, yes, that does appear to be so. I remember getting a test invite a few days after people with same Application and AoR dates, and a test window a week after them too. I don't think they are slow with Background and LPP though, but at the initial stage they do move slowly (at least compared to Mississauga and Scarborough).

Thanks for your input... It makes a lot of sense
Because when i called IRCC prior to the test invite clarifying about something in my application submitted, The office on call advised that my Primary office is Vancouver & Secondary office is Sydney, Which matches exactly what you are saying.
I have received a fingerprint request on Feb 27 and submitted it on the same date. so now i am in the waiting mode of RCMP sending them and IRCC receiving them, then getting Background completed then hopefully LPP.
I hope you have completed all of these already as I saw some Dec Applicants getting Oath already

Nothing yet, not even test confirmed as passed, but I know background check is 'in progress', and they seem to complete LPP within 2 weeks from that completing. So fingers crossed that things move this month.
